Nicky Torode
Hi, I’m Nicky. If I could sum up this life path I’ve been on, I’d say it all points to the deep and life-affirming impact of connection and solidarity.
From my earlier career in international human rights, and working on anti-discrimination projects with governmental institutions, the media and ethnic NGOs where I worked with NGOs supporting Roma communities in Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Russia. To my UK-based local community development, supporting tenants, ethnic minority support organisations and business start-ups.
Since 2009 I've been a coach working with creative entrepreneurs, career shifters and leaders, also in the social impact sector. And my lifelong love of creative writing became more insistent, and since 2015 I’ve facilitated workshops and courses in journaling, life writing and creative writing. I have an MSc in therapeutic writing, facilitating journaling circles with Ukrainian refugees in the UK and online with frontline workers, helping women migrants fleeing domestic violence in Central Asia and MA in human rights and worked overseas for 10 years.
Joanna Furgał
Hi, I'm Asia. It began before I quite knew it was beginning. During my university years, studying Rehabilitation Pedagogy, I worked alongside a special needs school, and later with an international organisation responsible for co-funded project by the European Union, supporting people living with mental health challenges, and complex social circumstances.
Five years in Scotland brought me into the heart of local communities, deepening my understanding of what it means to build belonging somewhere new. Back in Berlin, that thread continued through work with women with a migration background, combining photography and coaching.
From that foundation, the path widened naturally. Facilitation. Systemic Coaching. Learning design. Therapeutic Photography. Visual storytelling. Experiential programmes. Education. For nearly two decades I've partnered with leaders, founders, educators, and teams across international organisations, NGOs, foundations, and creative studios.

His journey began at the age of 11, when he discovered a passion for programming. Having worked with major organizations across India, the UK, and Germany, he now calls Berlin home.
He is currently a part time founder @ liquis.io and a Consultant offering his deep technical expertise with creative problem-solving.
He is also passionate about connecting people through different types of events and communities. He believes technology can be used intentionally and ethically to nurture connections with nature, people, and ourselves.

Backed by a Master’s degree from Concordia University Chicago and the Berlin School of Business and Innovation, he excels at pioneering forward-thinking digital products, leveraging emerging technologies, and building cohesive, memorable brand identities that resonate globally.
As AI, Digital Product & Brand Strategy Advisor for the Breaking Bread Movement, Wissam guides our technology vision and product roadmap, applying innovative AI tools and creative brand strategy to build scalable digital experiences that deepen community engagement and amplify our mission of fostering meaningful human connections.
